Mental Health First Aid is a FREE training that gives peoplethe skills to identify, understand and respond to people experiencing a mentalhealth, substance use or suicide challenge.

Who should take the training? Everyone. It is not just for professionals.Community members, parents, volunteers, and more, will gain useful knowledgeand confidence to help someone in crisis.

Youth Mental Health First Aid:

* Is designed for adults who regularly interact with young people
* Introduces common mental health challenges for youth
* Reviews typical adolescent development
* Teaches how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations
* Includes anxiety, depression, substance use, self-harm, suicide, psychosis,ADHD, eating disorders, and more

Come support our community’s youngest entrepreneurs as they showcase their creativity, products, and ideas at the Redding Children’s Business Fair!
Kids ages 6–14 have been hard at work designing, building, and running their very own small businesses – and you’re invited to shop, explore, and be inspired!

Over 40 youth-run businesses
Music and family fun
$10 Raffle Tickets – Enter to win one of two $500 prizes (must be present to win at noon!)
Food, friends, and community spirit

North State Giving Tuesday is an online networking and giving event that provides nonprofit organizations the opportunity to gain exposure and start relationships with new donors, and for the people in Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, Modoc, or Trinity counties to come together to raise as much money as possible for participating organizations within a 14 -hour period.
