Mental Health First Aid is a FREE training that gives peoplethe skills to identify, understand and respond to people experiencing a mentalhealth, substance use or suicide challenge.

Who should take the training? Everyone. It is not just for professionals.Community members, parents, volunteers, and more, will gain useful knowledgeand confidence to help someone in crisis. Adult Mental Health First Aid:

* Teaches risk factors and warning signs for adults
* Provides strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisissituations
* Gives resources for where to turn for help
* Focuses on recovery and resiliency – the belief that individuals experiencingthese challenges can and do get better and use their strengths to stay well

Boss of the Toss is a cornhole tournament, but it’s morethan just that. It’s a community celebration supporting United Way of NorthernCalifornia’s mission to bring people together across nine counties.Participation helps local families find stability, empowers youth, and supportsurgent needs right here in Northern California. Whether you’re a seasoned proor just looking for some friendly competition and fun, this event is for you.
